“We Must All Pray For a Peaceful and Greater Nigeria”- Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba Urges Muslim Faithfuls Towards Celebration

As Muslims all over the world celebrates the Eid el Kabir tomorrow, Tuesday 21/8/2018, the Vice Chairman Ikorodu Local Government,  Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has enjoined all Muslim faithfuls in the division, Nigeria and the world all over to pray for peace, love and renewed commitment of selfless service to building great communities.

In her official Eid el Kabir statement, she felicitates with the adherents of the Islamic faith to adhere strictly to the teachings of Islam in the areas of love, brotherliness, piousness, peaceful coexistence as well as tolerance which will
greatly assist in building peaceful great communities.

She further urged all as the elections approach to embrace the ethos of true democracy.

“We must all shun the debilitating approach of  seeing politics as a do or die affair, we should say no to violence but rather see it  as a passion for service for humanity and Mankind” she explained.

Hon. Princess Oba also appealed to all Muslim brothers and sisters to shun social vices as contained in the holy Quran as such are detrimental to the individuals and well- being of the society at large.

The grassroot leader reteriates her commitment in joining others to make the society a better place for all to live in.

“I hope and pray that our prayers enhance good life for this season and forever” she concludes.
